Last Friday the Yala team along with some special guest decided to throw the annual food off competition. Organised by our director Jamie we had some rules for this cook off.
We had teams of three and each person was responsible for either a starter, main or dessert. With such a diverse group of people that Friday we got to try and sample many different things such as Nigerian cuisine, Indian cuisine and Spanish cuisine.
The desserts were truly star of the day with there being an amazing cooked lemon pie and crepes with chocolate. The prize for whoever’s group that wins is that they got to go home early and luckily, we were all winners that day. It was a great day for food and building closer bonds as a team at Yala.

We started as a team of three sitting in an attic deciding on how to move forward with our business plan. From then on we have grown the business to a team of 10, and acquired a proper office. Our journey has been challenging but we believe that it has made us and our company what it is today.
