Rent a Recruiter started as a team of three sitting in an attic deciding on how to move forward with our business plan. From then on, we have grown the business to a team of 20. We made the decision to move to a fully remote business model and introduced a four-day working week for our teams. We have expanded our service across multiple operating locations including: America, the Middle East, United States and Europe. Our journey has been challenging but we believe that it has made us and our company what it is today.
We attribute all our success to team effort, openness and hard work. We love getting the teams feedback on new projects or hearing fresh ideas. Though we still have a long way to go, we are sure that Rent a Recruiter will be a major contributor to the Recruitment Industry worldwide. Suzanne O’ Sullivan
Chair & Chief Strategy Officer
Barry Prost has 20 years’ experience in international recruitment and has co founded award winning brands in the sector including Propel Consult, Yala, and now Rent A Recruiter, whose mission is to be a leading international, technology-led, embedded recruitment services provider with operations in Ireland, US, Middle East and Australia. Barry has a degree in Business from Trinity College Dublin and MBA from the Smurfit School of Business. Barry is a Committee Member of the Employment & Recruitment Federation, serves on the board for the SFA overseeing the MentorsWork initiative. Also nominated to Vice Chair of the Dublin Regional Skills Forum.

Chief Executive Officer
Jamie Groom has worked in the recruitment sector for over 18 years. Jamie is a founding member of Propel Consult and Rent A Recruiter. Previous to this, Jamie studied Architecture in London. He is a self-starter with a proactive, flexible approach to problem solving. He brings a high level of enthusiasm and client-focus to each assignment. His focus over the last few years has been helping grow the business internationally.
Chief Operating Officer
Mark has 10 years’ experience in the recruitment industry. Mark’s main focus has always been the development and delivery of recruitment services. Ramp up projects coupled with the delivery of day to day recruitment within the Life Sciences & Manufacturing sector.
Mark currently manages our Rent A Recruiter service, as well as managing the wider recruitment team.

Suzanne leads our accounts function, and provides payroll & invoicing support for our clients and contractors. Suzanne began her career within a ‘Big 4’ Accounting firm, PwC Ireland. Suzanne then managed the accounts for a large Electrical wholesaler. Sue brings a wealth of experience and professionalism to Rent a Recruiter.
Luiz Cesar Sant’Ana
After completing her Human Resources degree in Brazil, Isabela moved to Ireland to improve her English. From arriving in Ireland she knew she wasn’t going back home. She started working in recruitment in 2018 and hopes to stay doing it for a long time.
Senior Talent Partner
With 2+ years of experience in recruitment in the IT industry of Sri Lanka, Sakalya came to Ireland in 2020 to follow her MSc in HRM at UCD Smurfit College. Upon completing her Masters, Sakalya joined Rent a Recruiter as a Talent Partner. She rekindled her passion for recruitment and continues to excel in her career.

After 5 years of studying Business in college, Ruth graduated with a 2:1 Degree in November 2019. Since then she has worked in recruitment. Ruth started her journey recruiting for healthcare professionals. She has since moved to her position as Principal Talent Partner for Rent a Recruiter.

Luiz Cesar Sant’Ana
Luiz graduated and worked as a mechanical design technician in Brazil. In 2015, he decided to come to Ireland through an exchange program to learn English. Luiz since then has worked in different jobs, but he feels he has found his niche in the recruitment area. Luiz is now a Principal Talent Partner for RAR & enjoys going to the movies, listening to music, and travelling.

Carmen Perez Fernandez
Julieanne Cotter has over ten years Marketing Experience in a B2B service environment. Her experience includes working with companies throughout Ireland, England and Scotland. Julieanne brings a wealth of experience to her role. Our objective is to continuously improve and optimise our digital offering across our website portfolio.

Searching for a career path for herself, Ananya ventured into studying Psychology and Human Resource Management at Smurfit Business School. Managing people and giving back to society have been her all-time favourites. She is passionate about her work and spreading smiles and goodness all around her. Ananya likes art and photography.

Carmen Perez Fernandez
After studying a degree in Psychology and a Masters in HR, Carmen worked for two years as a Recruiter for a large European recruitment company in Spain. In 2018 she made the decision to come to Ireland and she joined Rent a Recruiter, where she works as Principal Talent Partner. Being from the coastal city of Vigo (in Galicia!), her favourite hobby is to go down to the coast and spend the afternoon by the beach with friends, enjoying Cíes Islands views!
Senior Talent Partner
Sarah has over 8 years experience in Recruitment. She has worked across many sectors including Engineering, IT and Aviation. Sarah has a Degree in Business & Anthropology and a Degree in Psychotherapy and Counselling. Working with people is Sarah’s passion. She believes her Psychotherapy Degree compliments her recruitment skills as it helps her to connect and engage with her candidates on a personal level, working with them to understand their career aspirations. Sarah started work at Rent a Recruiter in July 2022 as a Recruitment Manager.
Rachel has over 15 years recruitment experience both as an in house and agency recruiter. She has worked across a variety of sectors including Construction, Healthcare, M & E and Social Care. Over the years she has worked on a number of large campaigns recruiting across Europe, India and the United States. Rachel joined Rent a Recruiter in May 2022, working from the Sunny South East and has what she considers considers to be the job of a lifetime, working with the absolute Dream Team !

After working in hospitality for over 20 years, Jessica has hired thousands of people. For the last 10 years, she has been working in the HR and Recruitment space. She is a decisive, strategic Recruiter who leverages metrics and modern methods to seamlessly fill high-priority positions, improve processes and build a strong employer brand. Jessica is part of a number of female led groups, and is passionate about gender diversity in the workplace.
A psychology graduate, a budding nursing student, and a passionate recruiter at heart. Pallavi is known as a people’s person and started her recruitment career 4 years back. She loves sourcing and believes everyone deserves a chance. Great negotiator and loves advocating on behalf of clients or candidates if she believes there is potential. Her degree compliments very well and helps her to understand the wants of the client and the candidate. Pallavi would try her best to help someone in need if she sees the potential and places high value on productive and meaningful relationships. She loves cooking and likes to explore new spots and places.
