Engineering multinational Jacobs, is to add a further 200 jobs to its facilities across Dublin, Cork and Belfast after completing a €4.5 million investment in its Cork operations.

The Texas based group is to hire a further 200 staff in addition to the 1,100 which are already employed in Ireland.
Jacobs, which has been in Ireland since 1974 opened its first office in Dublin for the design and build of a pharmaceutical plant.
Since this time it remains a important part of the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors for a number of areas including Cork.
