Engineering group Smithstown Light Engineering is to add 60 jobs in the areas of engineering, programmers and quality control specialists.

The engineering firm which is based in Smithstown Industrial Estate in Shannon is set to expand. Smithstown Light Engineering which focusses on the servicing medical device and orthopedics companies.
The jobs will add to the existing 128 employees already in Smithstown Light Engineering, who’s clients include Abbott Ireland, Analog Devices. BD Medical, Braun and Boston Scientific.
