Rent a Recruiter Featured in Business Post as Company Targets €6 Million Growth
Rent a Recruiter has been featured in the Business Post as part of its Making It Work series, recognising the company’s continued growth and innovation in recruitment.
Founded in 2019 by Barry Prost and Jamie Groom, Rent a Recruiter has grown into a 26-person remote team delivering embedded recruitment support to businesses in Ireland and internationally.
The article highlights the company’s subscription-based recruitment model, which offers businesses a flexible alternative to traditional recruitment agency fees by embedding recruiters directly into client teams.
Speaking to the Business Post, co-founder Barry Prost outlined the thinking behind the model:
“We take the headache out of recruitment. A client outsources all or part of its recruitment to us, with us acting as the in-house recruiter.”
The feature also covers Rent a Recruiter’s expansion strategy, with support from Enterprise Ireland to explore international growth opportunities across Europe and the Middle East.
A key focus for the business is the development of AI-powered tools designed to improve recruitment delivery and client experience.
Barry Prost commented:
“The way to unlock scale comes with geographical diversification and around agentic AI.”
Rent a Recruiter expects turnover to reach €6 million in 2026 as it continues investing in scalable recruitment solutions for growing businesses.
