Silver Stream faced urgent recruitment challenges while establishing a new nursing home in Wicklow (Sugarloaf) and scaling operations at their Riverstick location. With high application volumes, interview no-shows, and an underutilised referral program, Silver Stream needed a recruitment solution that could handle the pressure of high-stakes hiring.

Rent a Recruiter embedded an in-house recruitment solution with a dedicated, ‘insourced’ Recruiter to manage the recruitment process from April 2024 to August 2024. Starting with four key roles at Sugarloaf and Riverstick nursing home sites, Rent a Recruiter expanded its involvement to manage most of the live roles across Silver Stream’s operations. This involved:
- Managing job postings on Indeed and reaching out to passive candidates.
- Conducting market analysis and providing insights on candidate concerns.
Screening potential hires and coordinating interviews. - Implementing a new referral program and arranging pre-interview calls to reduce no-shows.
- Setting up weekly calls to address bottlenecks in the recruitment process.
