Recruitment Introduction

Modular Automation are an Irish company that have devoted the past 30 years to delivering innovative custom automation, build to print and tooling solutions for the world’s most advanced manufacturers. Consecutively chosen as a Best Managed Company in Ireland by Deloitte for the past seven years. Through client collaboration they support their customers on their automation journey as they transition to smart methods of manufacturing.

The Recruitment Challenge

The challenge was finding professionals in the manufacturing industry that fit in the company’s budget.  Engaging with and screening candidates that were already in their recruitment backlog in addition to enforcing a strong employer brand by providing a quick turnaround on applications & leveraging data to narrow our scope for candidate targeting.

Recruitment Solutions

Rent a Recruiters embedded recruitment solution was implemented to support the Modular Automations’ HR team. The objective was to attract professional in the manufacturing industry that fit in the company’s budget. One Account Director and one Talent Partner were assigned to work with Modular Automation, and they managed their talent acquisition function from February to August 2022.

Rent a Recruiters Talent Partner acted as Modular Automations’ in-house Recruiter, working alongside the HR Manager and Hiring Managers. Modular Automation were able to leverage Rent a Recruiters experience of working with numerous clients to streamline their recruitment process.

Our account management team organised kick-off meetings to gain better understanding of:

  • The recruitment processes
  • Job descriptions
  • The backlog of applications and
  • Presentation of statistics

Recruitment Support 

With Rent a Recruiters Talent Partner in place and a detailed understanding of the processes we commenced supporting the HR team at Modular Automation by:

  • Reaching out to potential applicants through LinkedIn, Indeed and our Database.
  • Conducting screening calls
  • Scheduling virtual and in-person interviews
  • Updating candidate status for weekly recruitment statistics report meetings
  • Our Talent Partner also led the full cycle of recruitment process for holiday cover, conducting weekly meeting with the CEO
  • Fully handover to the new Talent Acquisition Partner of the company.
  • Rent a Recruiter provided greater hiring efficiency without the high costs associated with agency fees.
