House Made Hospitality (HMH), a prominent and expanding Sydney-based hospitality group, approached Rent a Recruiter with a time-sensitive challenge: to build a complete opening team for their new venue, This Way Canteen, within three weeks.
The timing was particularly difficult. Following the COVID-19 pandemic, the hospitality sector experienced a significant talent drain, with over 500,000 fewer overseas workers in the market and many skilled professionals having transitioned to other industries. Hiring in this environment was proving increasingly difficult, with demand far exceeding supply.
HMH required a solution that could deliver results quickly, at scale, and with precision.
