Yala featured in Better Business spring edition
In this year’s spring edition of Better Business our very own Managing Partner Barry Prost was featured in the magazine along with other directors sharing information and advice for aspiring entrepreneurs.
Barry’s expert advice for entrepreneurs was that “culture eats strategy for breakfast” he then goes on to explain he changed his viewpoint from ignoring culture to essentially making it a priority in his business.
He also stated that when you are working in a “competitive and fragmented market” you need to use any advantage you can to propel yourself and so it was also another reason to focus your efforts on work culture again.
Barry goes to on to say that having a young and diverse team at Yala and making sure said team buys into the vision and principles of working at the company is essential and this include making sure the team is always developing and learning at the same time.
