Takeda Ireland is set to open its first API facility outside of Japan this week with its recently completed facility in Grange Castle Ireland.

Takeda Ireland officially opened its new facility in Grange Castle, the site where construction start in 2017 opened with a total of 40 jobs in pharmaceuicals to be created on the site.
This will be in addition to the already 80 employed currently at the site. It is also the first overseas manufacturing centre for Takeda and houses all the steps within the production process.
Takeda focuses its R&D into the areas of oncology, gastroenterology and central nervous therapeutics and vaccines.
In Ireland, Takeda has operations in Grange Castle, Dunboyne and Bray.
