The construction purchasing managers index which tracks changes in activity within the construction sector which was measured at 53.7 up from the previous month which was measured at 51.4.
Housing construction saw the biggest rise, rising to 58.4 an increase from the 54.7 measured in the previous month.
Civil Engineering works were the only index to see reductions to drag down the overall performance of this month’s PMI.
